Friendly service. Not too busy in the late evening on a weekend. I would prefer a shorter Americano. Napoleon was good. It was quiet enough to have a comfortable level of conversation and there were also people studying

I love love love this place! As you walk into the café, you are immediately greeted by the friendly and joyful brothers. It was my first time at the café, and I was amazed by the variety of beautiful pastries available. I wanted to buy them all. The brothers were super patient with me! They took their time explaining and answering my questions about the pastries, and let me tell you, they were so decadent and delicious! I especially loved the Texas-sized "petit four"! Each time my sister or I go to Berkeley, we make sure to bring back some pastries to New Mexico! Keep doing what you do! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality, and for sharing such wonderful pastries with everyone who appreciates them!

The twins, Usen(I apologize for spelling your name incorrectly) and Ace were a delight! Oakland has many treasures but Café Parisien was the highlight of my food experience. There were many options, all made beautifully and with love. We had the hazelnut croissant, croque monsieur, brownie, orange bread, raspberry danish, café noisette, and a London fog. I have never been so satisfied by pastries and a delicious baked sandwich before! I highly recommend this café to locals and tourists. Thank you! I hope to see you soon. Love from AZ 🤗🥳

This is definitely favorite cafe in Berkeley! Good coffee drinks and sandwiches with a very cozy atmosphere, but the can't miss standout is the fantastic selection of pastries that could rival any French bakery. Everything I've had here has been absolutely fantastic and the experience is bolstered by the service from the two twin brothers who run the shop. Some of the friendliest folks around, they will welcome you in and make you feel completely at home.

Fabulous cafe; hands down the best coffee I had in Berkeley, and I am a coffee snob from Chicago, where we do have some excellent local roasters. Pastries were exceptional, and the atmosphere and service were excellent. Highly recommend coming here if you are anywhere in Berkeley.

A true French treasure in the heart of Berkeley. The pastries are exceptional—light, buttery, and perfectly crafted, rivaling those found in Paris. The café’s warm atmosphere and attentive staff make each visit a delightful experience. Whether for a morning croissant and coffee or an afternoon treat, this shop consistently delivers excellence. This cafe has basically become my second home/office. 😂🥰 I’m here almost every day for my large latte and the best croissants in town. 🥐☕️The chocolate croissant is my forever favorite, but the almond croissant has also been addictive lately. Their cakes, cookies, sandwiches, and spinach quiche are all consistently yummy 🤗😋 I ordered a coffee Génoise cake for my birthday party, and it was honestly the best cake I’ve ever had~~🥳🎂Everything is homemade, thoughtfully balanced, and never overly sweet, which I love!!!❤️❤️ Hocin and Ahce, the twin brothers who run the place, are funny, warm, humble, and hardworking. They’re always improving something, always welcoming, and they treat every customer with genuine kindness. This is the kind of cafe that makes a neighborhood feel like home, and I’m grateful to have it just around the corner. 💕☺️🍀

Looking for a bakery for some quality sweets to treat ourselves to on our anniversary and WOW, did we ever get lucky when we wandered by Café Parisien. We got several sweet and savory items and they were all more than just good, they were special. Tiramisu from heaven. A long, crumbly sandwich cookie with jam inside, each end dipped in chocolate, so good. A savory tart, with caramelized onions, other veggies, and cheese (there are a variety of fillings), inside a thin dome of tender dough, pictured. I wish I could recall the name of this item, but it's fine, when I go back, I can just point. The brothers that bake it all were friendly, helpful and warm. We have a new spot.

I discovered Café Parisien after dropping my daughter off at school. I was hungry for some breakfast and was headed to North Berkeley to go to a familiar place. However, I noticed Café Parisien as I was driving by and decided to pull over and check it out. It was a good idea. I walked in and the case was full of tasty treats. However, since I wanted something savory, I ordered the ham, cheese and egg croissant and a mocha. It was definitely one of the best I have had in the East Bay. I love a good breakfast and I will definitely be returning to try the other pastries. The staff is friendly and the service was fast and top notch. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed and there were other customers chatting and enjoying their food.

Great place for French patisserie and savory snacks. Great coffee and great atmosphere. They regularly have book presentations, dinner specials and cultural events. Ask the brothers who own and make it all happen! I will go back every time I am in Berkeley
